While on the International Space Station, Williams pursued his passion of photography, and this year he focused on national parks in celebration of the Park Service’s centennial. When fellow astronaut Peggy Whitson embarks on her next space mission, in November, she’ll have a chance to surpass Williams’s spaceflight record.
