The chassis dyno at ATS Diesel Performance is the place where it’s all going down and where it’s “all about the numbers,” as peak horsepower and torque numbers are added together to determine a truck’s rear-wheel- performance total. And once the brawn is measured, drivers take on the dyno’s computer, in an 18-minute simulated “cruise” that not only helps us measure fuel consumption; it can also demonstrate just how “drivable” some of these high-powered, street-legal rigs really are!

Starting October 10, 2016 exclusively on the Motor Trend Channel, host Brian Lohnes takes you through our weeklong torture test that features 6 competitive events, 10 trucks, and 16,438 combined horsepower and torque at the rear wheels.
