Fox’s wonderful Deadpool 2 movie is currently wowing audiences around the world with its irreverent humour, awesome action and graphic gore – the latter of which… kind of makes it unsuitable for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, if we’re being honest.

However, wouldn’t it actually be cool if the Merc with a Mouth was to appear in the MCU?! It is, after all, the flagship comic book movie franchise – and Deadpool is undoubtedly one of Marvel’s flagship characters.

We think it would be amazing – and this video will theorise how that might actually happen. Be warned though – it contains MCU and Deadpool 2 spoilers – so don’t watch the video OR read this text any further if you don’t want to know what happens in either franchise.

Could Deadpool’s ability to speak to the audience mean he can simply communicate and venture to other worlds under his own power? Could the time-travel device belonging to Cable in Deadpool 2 actually take Deadpool to the MCU (it did take him to the “real world” after all)? Could the Infinity Gauntlet Thanos used to wipe out half the universe in Avengers: Infinity War actually bring Deadpool to the franchise? Could a reality-warping character like the Phoenix or Scarlet Witch cause Deadpool to switch franchises? And could a story like Secret Wars or Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe be adapted, which would allow the Merc with a Mouth to cross over?

Among all of Spider-Man’s powers and abilities, his Spider-sense can really help him navigate the world, take on enemies, and be aware in dangerous situations. In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Peter Parker had yet to discover this ability, but the powers have come in full force for his appearance in The Avengers: Infinity War. Not only can Spider-Man predict danger, but his powers can expand beyond this to deliver all kinds of abilities for Spider-Man. Learn about them and how they help of hinder our hero.

In Infinity War, we saw a clear example of how the powers could actually predict death is coming — even though the power would only be useful for about five seconds. Not only can Spider-Man detect danger, but the Spidey-sense helps him navigate and visualize various areas. Spider-Man may be busy with school, crime-fighting, and love interests like MJ, but too much fatigue could have a bad impact his ability to use these powers. As Spider-Man transforms from the ordinary teen into the major hero, one of his biggest worries should be keeping himself safe and out of any major dangers. This is crucial as Peter Parker transforms himself into the Spider-Man costume. His spider-sense actually prevents him from changing into the costume when anyone is looking. The spider sense Peter Parker ha is not perfect, especially when coming across an enemy like Venom. The symbiote has learned how to avoid spider sense all together and is one of the ways Venom can constantly get an upper hand on Spider-Man over the years.
