The two epic franchises we just can’t get enough of are closer than we thought. Both “Star Wars” and the MCU have been using some of the same actors. Often looking so different, we don’t even realize they were in both sets of films! Marvel’s massive collection of films stars some of the greatest actors in the world. So who out of the iconic characters in “Thor,” “Avengers: Infinity War,” “Iron Man,” and “Guardians of the Galaxy” also appeared in “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” or “The Last Jedi” or even “The Phantom Menace”?
“Black Panther” saw a lot of success this year, with Lupita Nyong’O, the Hollywood it girl starring alongside Chadwick Boseman. Of course Andy Serkis has had his motion capture hands all over both these franchises. Felicity Jones, Oscar Isaac, Benicio Del Toro, and Natalie Portman have all dabbled in both the franchises…do you know which roles they played? Can you pick them out even with the heavy makeup on or the beautiful costumes? As for Paul Bettany having the Mind Stone ripped from his skull by Thanos, will we still like him as the villain Dryden Vos? Ray Park brought Darth Maul to life…do you know the Marvel mutant he also portrayed? Rose Byrne and Donald Glover have some sneaky crossover roles as well, we’re almost certain you didn’t notice one of Byrne’s first American roles. As for Glover, AKA Childish Gambino, he’s taken off to a whole other level!
