Today is both Indigenous Peoples and Columbus Day. Many of Jimmy’s fellow Italian-Americans get very defensive about Christopher Columbus even though he never even got to North America. He died thinking he went to India and found a trade route to China but he did neither of those things. He had one job and he screwed it up. This weekend we’re heading to New York for our annual residency at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Starting Monday, October 21st we have five shows in New York. Leading the way, our advance party is our own Guillermo who is road tripping there in the #Guillermobile. His first stop is at Mariano’s Hacienda in Dallas, Texas where he’s eating Tex-Mex with owner, Mariano and former Quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, Tony Romo.
