Coronavirus: NHS workers say PPE ‘shouldn’t be a precious resource’
Health professionals have reacted angrily to Health Secretary Matt Hancock categorising personal protective equipment as a “precious resource”.
Mr Hancock has insisted there are enough masks, gloves, aprons and hand sanitiser to go around as he defended the government’s record on protecting medics.

Black and hispanic people ‘twice as likely to die’ in US from COVID-19
Black and hispanic citizens appear twice as likely to die from coronavirus as white people in New York, according to new data.
In New York state, 17% of those who die from coronavirus are black, despite representing only 9% of the population.
There is no federal data on race, ethnicity and links to COVID-19 being released despite calls by campaigners.
