First Look: Safari 4

The WWDC finished up earlier today, and one of the many announcements (including new MacBooks, Quicktime and of course the new iPhones 3GS) was that Safari 4 would be out of beta today. I’ve only had it for a couple hours or so, and this is strictly a first impressions video. That said, at first glance Safari 4 looks like a fast, solid competitor to Chrome and Firefox and it’s worlds ahead of Safari 3. I used to use Safari 3 until Chrome came out, but with this latest release I might just convert back.

Definitely look for quite a few more videos about everything that was announced at WWDC, as there is going to be no shortage of things for me to cover.

Sorry that there are a fair few audio glitches, my computer lagged a bit during the recording. While Safari was fairly fast, it does run even better when I’m not recording so that’s something you may want to keep in mind.

Overview: iPhone 3GS

The WWDC just wrapped up, and I’m mostly impressed. There was a lot of good new stuff, including Safari 4.0, an all new Quicktime, Snow Leopard and of course the iPhone 3GS. This was just a short video I did really quickly, expect more on the iPhone 3GS, as well as videos about the rest of the WWDC announcements, shortly.

Prey Invasion – $2.99 – Get it from iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=318267734&mt=8

This is a First Look on a highly anticipated new app, Prey Invasion. Overall I’m quite impressed with it, especially for such a reasonable price.

There is a lot more that you can do, and if you guys want I can make more videos showing how to bring in custom icons and more.
