Windows 7 Downgrade Tutorial Linus Tech Tips

Contrary to all of the other information I was able to find (on official documents AND on the internet) you are NOT supposed to install Windows XP first, then request a downgrade from the product activation center. You are supposed to call Microsoft Customer Service at 1-800-936-5700 and request a downgrade BEFORE you install Windows XP.
