For you geeks, we’re shooting with the Panasonic Lumix GH1 with an adaptor and a Canon EF 50mm 1:1.8 II. It’s a very cheap lens ($100).
With the adaptor, we have to leave the lens all the way open (1.8), and it’s a prime lens, so no zoom. Because the lens wasn’t made to work with the Lumix, there’s no stabilization feature, hence the shaky shot. We need to get a cinema rig to do good handheld stuff. Until then, we’ll just use a tripod!
