iPad Mini, iPod Shuffle 4G: September 2010 Apple Event Rumors

In this video I talk about what might be coming this September for the Apple iPod event. Thanks to a report by iLounge we very well might see an iPad Mini (or iPad Nano) with a 7 inch screen as opposed to the standard 8.9 inch screen of the normal iPad. The iPad Mini would also likely have a front facing camera for use with FaceTime.

We also might see the fourth generation iPod Shuffle. The iPod Shuffle 4G likely will be a departure from the previous models with a small 1.7 inch touchscreen with a very simple UI.

The Torch is a major departure from standard BlackBerry design with a portrait slide out keyboard that is quite similar in look and feel to the Bold keyboard. It also runs the just announced BlackBerry 6 OS which brings many improvements that attempt to get the BlackBerry platform closer to iOS and Android. The Torch has a 3.2 inch 480×360 resolution touchscreen, a 5 megapixel camera with flash, 802.11n Wi-Fi, 4GB of internal storage in addition to an included 4GB microSD card, 512MB of both ROM and RAM and a 624 MHz processor. The BlackBerry Torch will cost $199 on a 2 year contract from AT&T starting on August 12th.

Mini Action Movie: Fire Proof

Boom! Watch that fire. Watch it, but please don’t try and make it. Try and guess which effects are real, and which are fake. I bet you can’t tell!

VFX are great to learn and all, but nothing beats great practicals. This video proves that.

We filmed in beautiful wintery Minnesota during 2009, as a culmination of tricks we have learned after tinkering for years.

Google Chrome Extension: https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/jpajpedkdbbffnpjopibeolebkjdiikp

In this video I show you how to remove the new gray autoplay subscription bar on YouTube. There are two methods, one is to simply modify the URL of each video. However you have to do this each time you watch a video so it’s not ideal.

The other method is to install a simple Google Chrome extension that will allow you to remove the subscription bar without having to do anything.
