SPOILER ALERT! It’s been almost a year and a half since the end of Attack on Titan season 3. With AoT S4 just around the corner, we wanted to give you a quick refresher for the highly anticipated upcoming season premiere. Here’s what you need to know going into Attack on Titan’s final season.
For the past 100 years, humanity has lived within giant walls to protect itself from the Titans, giant lumbering beasts with a taste for human flesh. When the Titans suddenly smash through the wall, it forever changes the destinies of Eren, Mikasa and Armin, three childhood friends who sign up to try to defeat the Titans once and for all.
Our explainer goes over Eren’s motivation and the Survey Corps which includes adoptive sister Mikasa and childhood friend Armin. The origin of the Titans is detailed and it’s connection to Eren’s father, Grisha Yeager. Plot points from seasons 1 to 3 are also referred to including Eren’s Titan abilities and his interaction with the Beast, Armored, and Colossal Titans due to the conflict between Eldia and Marley.

Spoiler alert: the Volvo P1800 Cyan Racing is a wonderful thing. Cyan Racing, the Swedish racing team that is Volvo’s official race partner, has taken an old Volvo P1800 coupe and turned it into something brilliant.
There’s not much original P1800 left. Cyan takes a few bits of the structure and rebuilds an entire car around it, including a 2.0-lire 414bhp turbocharged engine, double-wishbone suspension all around and plenty of carbon fibre.
The result is a car that costs nearly £400,000 and weighs just 990kg. Cyan doesn’t quote 0-60mph numbers of a top speed, but given the P1800 Cyan has no driver aids and a manual gearbox, we reckon it’ll hit 60mph in under 5.0seconds and go on to 170mph.

Producer Yasuyuki Oda and creative director Eisuke Ogura explained that Kyo, Benimaru and Shun’ei would all appear in the upcoming fighting game. Kyo, who appeared in the very first KoF game, makes a return in a black jacket and bandana. Benimaru switches back to a sleeveless shirt design, and will be more familiar to how fans remember him.
