After the Justice League flop, and with the DCEU being in shambles, Batman just can’t understand why Warner Brothers would spend so much money polishing a turd with the Snyder Cut. The answer: HBO Max, their new streaming contender. And at the end of 2020, with Wonder Woman 84 set to come out, they made an even bigger play with HBO Max. Warner Bros announced that in addition to WW84, their entire 2021 slate of theatrical movie releases would come out simultaneously on the streaming service. It was a bold move to help them gain some ground in the streaming wars. So how exactly did that happen…
