يوما ما كانت هناك ارض خضراء جميلة تتلألأ في أرجائها مياه البحيرات الزرقاء حيث تلعب أفراس النهر و تتقافز الغزلان على الضفاف تحت ظلال الأشجار المورفة والباسقة , ثم فجأة حدث شيء رهيب أحال تلك الآجام الخضراء إلى صحاري قاحلة فاختفت الأعشاب و الزهور البرية الجميلة و حلت مكانها الرمال الحارقة التي قضت تدريجيا على كل أشكال الحياة فاستحقت تلك الأرض عن جدارة تسمية الربع الخالي , صحراء رهيبة تجثم تحت رمالها الكثير من الألغاز و الأسرار , لعل أشهرها هو لغز “عبار” المدينة الضائعة و التي تسمى ”اطلانطس الصحراء”.
عاد كانت أمة عظيمة اختفت فجأة مع مدنها الغنية تحت رمال الصحراء الحارقة
