مصطفى فهمي مر بتجربتين زواج لم يكتب لهما النجاح والاستمرار مصطفى لديه من زوجته الأولى «عمر»- 28 سنة- ويعمل في بنك في سويسرا، ودينا- 24 سنة- تحضر الدراسات العليا في إيطاليا في سيكولوجية الأطفال، وعن طريقة اتصاله بهما قال: «أسافر إليهما في إجازاتي ويأتيان إلى مصر لتمضية إجازتهما معي، ونتواصل دائماً عبر الهاتف والإنترنت».

الممثل المصري برر موافقته على استقرار أبنائه في الخارج قائلاً: «كان قراراً مشتركاً معهما أن يكملا دراستهما في الخارج عندما وصل عمر إلى سن 17 سنة ولحقته دينا وهي في سن 19 سنة، ورغم أنه كان قراراً صعباً عليَّ للغاية، والكثير من أصدقائي لاموني عليه، أجده قراراً صحيحاً وموفقاً للغاية، لأنهما يكتسبان خبرة في الحياة ويفهمان الناس ويعتمدان على نفسيهما في اتخاذ قراراتهما وحل مشكلاتهما، لأنهما وحدهما دون العائلة، ولأنهما صاحبا الموضوع ويعيشان أبعاده».
