بشر سعوا للخلود وتحدى الموت

البحث عن ينابيع الشباب والخلود فكرة تلاعب العقل البشري منذ القدم، منذ أقدم قصة كتبها الإنسان “ملحمة جلجامش” والذي تتكلم عن الملك جلجامش ورحلته بحثاً عن الخلود بعد موت صديقه أنكيدو..

لكن جلجامش ليس وحيداً فهناك العديد من المحاولات التى أقدم عليها البشر طوال تاريخ البشرية الطويل
مستخدمين العديد من الأساليب والطرق التى سنستعرضها معاً :

السحر والشعوذة :
قبل أن يكون هناك محاولات شبه علمية للبحث عن أكسير الحياة او وسيلة لتجديد الشباب كان هناك العديد من المحاولات التى كان أساسها السحر والشعوذة والدموية فى الكثير من الأحيان

ففي العصور الوسطى كانت الكونتيسة الهنغارية ( إليزابيث باثوري ) تقطع شرايين خادماتها البائسات وتتركهن معلقات داخل حوض استحمام لينزفن حتى آخر قطرة دماء ثم تقوم بالاستحمام في دماءهم لأنها كانت تؤمن بأن لهذه الدماء خواص سحرية تقضي على الشيخوخة وتطيل العمر.
ومن الأمثلة الوحشية الأخرى قصة الأسبانية ( انركيتا مارتي ) التي كانت تخطف الأطفال الفقراء من شوارع برشلونة لتقتلهم وتستخلص الشحم من أجسادهم لاستخدامه في صنع وصفات سحرية للقضاء على الشيخوخة كانت تبيعها بمبالغ طائلة لحسناوات المدينة من بنات الطبقة النبيلة
