في المرتبة العاشرة : إليانور آكيتيان
نشأت اليانور آكيتيان في عائلة من أثرى عائلات أوروبا في العصور الوسطى، ويذكر انها ورثت كمية لا تصدق من المال والمقتنيات.
كانت إليانور رفيقة ملكة فرنسا بين العامين 1137–1152 و رفيقة ملكة إنجلترا بين العامين 1154–1189 إلى ان استطاعت أن تصبح ملكة في أواخر 1130.
ويعود لها الفضل في خلق وتطوير اكيتيان، وتحويلها إلى واحدة من أفضل المراكز الثقافية في العالم.
في المرتبة التاسعة : شجردة الدر
شجرة الدر امرأة بدلت وجه التاريخ وغيرته، فرغم كونها جارية إلا أنها لم تكن كباقي الجاريات فقد تميزت بجمال وفطنة وذكاء خارق وحاد،إضافة لكونه متعلمة، تجيد الكتابة والقراءة,
كانت بدايتها عندما قام الملك نجم الدين بشرائها فحظيت عنده بمكانة عالية وأعتقها وتزوجها وأنجبت منه وبعد وفاة زوجها تولت عرش مصر لمدة ثمانين يوماً … وتنازلت بعدها عن العرش لزوجها المعز أيبك التركماني
وقد لعبت دوراً تاريخياً هاماً أثناء الحملة الصليبية السابعة على مصر حيث نجح الجيش المصري في التصدي لهم ولقي الصليبيون خسائر فادحة في معركة المنصورة نجحت شجرة الدر في مهارة فائقة أن تمسك بزمام الأمور وتقود البلاد رغم ما كانت تمر به البلاد من ظروف عصيبة وسيئة
في المرتبة الثامنة : ماريا تيريزا
واحدة من أنجح الحكام في تاريخ النمسا ، كانت شديدة الذكاء تمكنت من الوصول للحكم وهى في الـ 33 من عمرها.
عملت بجد لتعديل الحكومة، ونجحت في صعود الاقتصاد، كما وضعت حدا لعدة ممارسات للناس كانت ترى انها فوضوية، وجعلتهم على بينة وعلم بكل شيء يحدث في الامبراطورية، ومعرفة ما لهم وما علهيم.
في المرتبة السابعة : الإمبراطورة ثيودورا
عندما تزوجت ثيودورا من الإمبراطور جستنيان الأول كانت تعمل كممثلة.
جستنيان وثيودورا تشاركا الحكم ، لضمان نجاح الإمبراطورية، والجدير بالذكر ان جيستيان كان يستشيرها في كل قرارته الخاصة بالحكم بشكل مبالغ فيه أحياناً.
لكنها كانت زوجة داعمة جدا له، ولعبت دورا رئيسيا في نجاح العديد من المعارك، حتى جعلت الناس يدركون أهمية المرأة، وان لها حقوق لا يمكن التغافل عنها.
