Halo the distant past, a powerful race called the Forerunners fought an alien parasite known as the Flood. The Flood, which spread through infestation of sentient life, overran much of the Milky Way Galaxy. One of the races affected was humanity, who came into conflict with the Forerunners. Halo full movie Exhausted by their war and after having explored all other options, the Forerunners conceived a weapon of last resort to combat the Flood, called the Halo Array. Using an installation known as the Ark, they built large ring-shaped megastructures known as Halos. Delaying as long as they could, the Forerunners activated the rings and disappeared.[13] Tens of thousands of years later, in the 26th century, humanity – under the auspices of the United Nations Space Command, or UNSC – colonize many worlds thanks to the development of faster-than-light “slipspace” travel. Tensions escalate between the older and more stable “Inner Colonies” and the remote “Outer Colonies”, leading to civil war.

The V90 follows the hugely likeable XC90 of last year and is built on the same chassis architecture. It also uses the same powertrains, and here we test the V90 in 2.0-litre D5 diesel form, with 232bhp and all-wheel drive.

On Episode 5 of UFC 199 Embedded, middleweight champion Luke Rockhold spends the evening analyzing his opponent, training for his fight and learning vocabulary. His challenger Michael Bisping receives a UK flag from supporters at home. Bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz stops to smell the lilies during a walk with his dog, then does media at FOX alongside Bisping and bantamweight title challenger Urijah Faber. Cruz and Faber verbally spar on set, and the animosity continues the next day at the UFC 199 press conference, with barbs thrown between both the main and co-main event’s stars. UFC 199 Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog leading up to two championship rematches at UFC 199: Rockhold vs. Bisping 2, taking place Saturday, June 4 on Pay-Per-View.

In one of my original life hacks videos (http://bit.ly/10SummerLifehacks) I showed an easy trick to catch fruit flies with a container and plastic wrap. This trick works great, but over the course of a couple of years I made a few tweaks to the design.

Instead of plastic wrap, I realized I could just use a small container and make a hole in the lid to use as a permanent, reusable fly trap.

I also found that the flies could be easily disposed of by cooking in the microwave for 15-30 seconds.

The problem with the microwave approach was that the fruit would cook and smell extremely bad, stinking up the house in the process.

About this same time I notice that some of our lemons around the house were going moldy, and had an amazing amount of fruit flies swarming around them.

I was amazed that flies would like lemons so much, so I started experimenting to see if lemons would work in the traps as well, and they did.

The major benefit to using lemons, was that when we nuked the flies in the microwave, it cooked the lemon and released a pleasant citrus smell instead of the putrid smells we were getting before.

As a side note, I’ve noticed that really fresh lemons may not work as well as ones that are turning bad. If all you have are fresh lemons, just add 1 Tbsp of apple cider vinegar to the bottom of the container along with your lemons and it should make all the difference in catching the flies. It just won’t smell as nice when you cook them.
