A determined young elephant breaks traffic laws to get to its destination. Video captured outside of an Indian wildlife sanctuary shows the pachyderm encountering two railway barriers that were lowered for an oncoming train. The elephant gently lifts one of the barriers and slips underneath. It then steps over the second barrier. The scene is a fascinating observation of the elephant’s problem-solving abilities, and its blatant disregard for traffic safety measures.
