Charles Caleb Colton once said imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. While there is nothing wrong with game developers paying homage to a specific game, sometimes they take things a little too far. There are some games that are so eerily similar you begin to believe there might be some copyright infringement in there somewhere. After you determine which game developer is most likely to get sued, you start to realize the game is actually just a complete rip off of a more successful game. In the world we live in, money is king and some game developers will do anything for a quick cash grab. If that means stealing the plot and features of a more successful game while passing it off as their own idea, so be it. Rarely does a rip off ever do better than the game it copied, but as you will see in this video, it happens from time to time.

From a Sonic The Hedgehog clone to a racing rip-off, there have been many copycats throughout the years. In this video, you will find not all games that were ripped off were terrible, some of them were quite good and enjoyable to play. Yes, some games copy everything from the original and absolutely reek of plagiarism, but wouldn’t you do this same if the opportunity presented itself? It’s a hard job being an actor. It doesn’t matter whether you’re just starting out, or Tom Hardy – the industry is competitive and it’s a long way to the top, if you wanna rock and roll. A lot of people probably think that acting is as simple as getting the audition, passing and getting the role. What a lot of people don’t realise is that the starting audition is simply a job interview. The real hard auditions come later with screen tests.

You have to be interacting perfectly with the camera, with other actors and that’s darn hard. Actors like Christian Bale and Robert Downey Jr. had to fight against uncomfortable suits and their own personal demons in order to get their iconic roles as Batman and Iron Man. Other actors like Dafne Keen had to push themselves to the limit, going as far as to completely improvise her now famous scene in Logan.

The screen test really is the make or break audition, and sometimes a screen test can go amazingly, but the final film might be a little lacking. That was the case for Tom Hardy when he played Shinzon in Star Trek Nemesis. While he was great in the screen test, something in the final picture just didn’t quite add up.

Auditions are a long and arduous process, but they’re also the one thing in acting you really have to get used to. So today we are going to look at 10 Auditions That Pushed Actors to Their Limit.
