Records and challenges are a fundamental part of any video game. Pretty much every video game has an active speed running community, completionist community and many others. Today, we will be looking at some challenges that go above and beyond. In this video, we will be looking at some of the Guinness World Record endorsed challenges for Minecraft. We’ll talk about some of the speed related challenges such as how fast can a player craft the tools necessary to survive in Minecraft? And is it possible to build a stairway to heaven in under three minutes? From there, we’ll talk about how far someone can go to hit bedrock.

We’ll take a break from all the speed running talk and focus on the skills that pay the bills. We’ll also check out some records that involve jumping and holding on to a pig for dear life. Speaking of pigs, we look at your mettle and ask; how long does it take for a player to kill 10 zombie pigmen? And how fast players can construct their own iron golems? After that we see if they can put a roof over their heads in no time flat. All this and much more will be discussed in today’s video.
