Do you hate to lose? So do we which is why we wanted to be the first to bring you these 10 weird facts about Wario! Contrary to popular belief, Wario isn’t actually Mario’s evil twin. They’re just two childhood friends, one of which holds a grudge for a long time. Wario’s inspiration may have came seven years before he was designed from Foreman Spike in Wrecking Crew. Wario’s grudge with Mario may actually be because of his broken heart. Does our villain have a soft spot for Peach?

Another popular opinion is that Wario was first seen in a comic book panel, but it was actually a video game with a backstory created one year later in a follow-up comic book. Wario’s backstory went on for 16 years before it was fully fleshed out and we learned everything we could about the grumpy evil Mario counterpart. Wario may even have had a secret battle with alcoholism which he overcame as proved in Wario Land 2. It wasn’t the design that came first, but it was actually his name. Fans were delighted when they discovered Wario could be played in Super Smash Bros. Brawl only to discover that he was almost made for Super Smash Bros. Melee. Another thing many people believe is that Wario and Waluigi are related, but it turns out they’re just tennis partners. Wario Land seems to be an integral part of what made Super Mario Odyssey feel like such a classic throwback. Marvel’s Netflix shows have pretty much all been great up to now. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and The Defenders were all superb – and while Iron Fist wasn’t as good, it still provided us with some decent and worthwhile entertainment. The next one that’s due to hit the small screen is The Punisher – starring Jon Bernthal as the titular character – which is set to be released for viewing on November 17th. It’s got a lot of people talking – and that means a lot of theories about both it and its lead character have been conceived. We’ve got some of them for you here and there are some beauties! They are; That Frank Castle saved Nick Fury from HYDRA in 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier, that he killed HYDRA agent Jasper Sitwell in the same movie, that he has links to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Daisy Johnson AKA Skye AKA Quake via his hacker ally Micro, that Karen Page will be his most importantly ally in his titular series, that his supposed ally Micro will actually be a villain in the show, that the classic Marvel villain Bullseye will be introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the show, that Claire Temple’s absence from the show is more important than most people may realize, that there will be a musical number in the show (we know – crazy, right?), that it will be the precursor to a Thunderbolts show, and that Frank Castle will make an appearance in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War to help in the fight against Thanos’s army of minions.
