Movie fans are always coming up with their own theories – and, quite often, those theories can potentially link franchises that are otherwise unrelated to each other. A great example is the theory that suggests Home Alone’s Kevin McCallister grew up to be Saw’s Jigsaw Killer, and the theory that was initially conceived by fans about all of Pixar’s movies taking place in the same universe actually turned out to be true. Of course, Those particular examples link a live action movie to another live action movie, and animated movies to other animated movies, but there are also theories that link live action movies to animated movies! Those theories are; That the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the world in which Frozen takes place are actually one and the same, that Big Hero 6 takes place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that the live action Jungle Book movie takes place in the same world as the animated Aladdin movie, that live action movies I, Robot, The Terminator and The Matrix all take place in the same universe as animated movie Robots, that Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Rango take place in the same universe, that the live action Beauty and the Beast movie takes place in the same universe as the animated Hunchback of Notre Dame, that Planet of the Apes and The Lion King take place in the same universe, that Space Jam and Who Framed Roger Rabbit occur in the same universe, and that all of Tim Burton’s movies take place in the same universe.
