There are a lot of video games on the market and, for the most part, the majority of them have some sort of items available for use in game. Not only are items an integral part of gameplay when it comes to most games, but there are a lot of developers out there that enjoy giving players a variety of items to use. Typically, there are a lot of items that players love and actively seek out as they will help them in their quest to finish the game.

Then there are some items that will leave players scratching their heads and wondering what the heck developers were thinking when they came up with said item. For the most part, these item are just once off, joke items that developers thought would be funny. These items are usually a novelty on the first playthrough and then are quickly discarded once they cease being humorous. It’s all in good fun and, usually, it just becomes an inside joke between players and developers; a shared yet weird experience, in most cases.

Of course, there are some developers who love to troll their fanbase more than others with a variety of jokes and strange items throughout their games. However, it’s still funny to come across a strange item in an otherwise serious game. If you have ever played Borderlands 2 or Ratchet and Clank, you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about. The items on this list only make sense if they’re taken with a grain of salt.

Nothing gets the internet in quite as much of a flurry as the arrival of a new Deadpool movie. Since they announced a sequel at almost the exact time that the first one knocked all of our socks off, fans have been abuzz about what it could be about. It’s some serious hype to live up to, but if anyone can do it, it’s probably Deadpool. In the midst of the excitement, fans have created some of the most outrageous, unbelievable, ingenious theories as to what we will get from the second installment. From the wild idea that Deadpool could actually be the father of Cable’s wife, to an idea that Deadpool is actually the screenwriter behind the films, egged on by the fact that Ryan Reynolds is credited as a writer for the second film. There are theories that tie in the Deadpool franchise to the much anticipated The New Mutants, with Negasonic Teenage Warhead as the link. Because there’s always an evil clone theory or two, will a sewn together version of our hero, grown from the dismembered hand from the movie before make an appearance?

Fans wonder if Deadpool was always a mutant who simply had one of his mutations awakened by his horrible accident, or if all of this is actually taking place within the fictionalized comic books featured in the movie Logan. One theory suggests that Deadpool might actually be the great American author Ernest Hemingway, and one speculates that it’s actually Spiderman’s beloved Uncle Ben who is killed in the first teaser trailer. On some new characters we’ve caught a glimpse of, it’s possible that Thunderbird III will be played by the incomparable Julian Dennison, and we might be in for a roller coaster if Cable’s evil clone Stryfe comes by for a visit. Whatever happens, we hope it’s going to be as lewd, crude, and over the top as the original, and if that Celine Dion video is any indication, it will be.
