Qatar 2022 – Enquête sur un hôte de la Coupe du monde surprise

Le 2 décembre 2010, la Fédération internationale de football (Fifa) a attribué officiellement l’organisation de la Coupe du monde 2022 au Qatar alors que, de l’avis de tous les experts, cette candidature était de loin la plus mauvaise face à celle de l’Australie, du Japon ou encore des Etats-Unis. Pourtant, ce pays où les températures estivales peuvent atteindre les 50 °C, qui n’a pas de culture foot et ne dispose d’aucune infrastructure dédiée à la discipline a réussi à s’imposer. Mais que cache la victoire du Qatar ? Accusations de corruptions, marchandages, jeux d’influence, Sylvain Pak est allé à la rencontre de ceux qui ont joué un rôle dans cette élection, Zinedine Zidane, Michel Platini, Sepp Blatter ou encore Yann Arthus-Bertrand, et leur a posé toutes les questions.
