With a franchise as giant and interwoven as the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s hard to imagine that any movie really stands alone. Even those that aren’t part of a bigger storyline have are full of hidden gems for fans to find, and Marvel fans are some of the greatest detectives out there. They absolutely love to hunt for Easter Eggs in every frame of every Marvel movie, and most of the time they are rewarded with an awesome payoff. From Captain America’s lists of seventy years worth of things to catch up on, that change based on what country the movie was released in, to two small time and yet very important characters from The Hulk comic books making a satisfying cameo. There are ndless creatures and artifacts to be discovered in The Collector’s personal museum, most of which are significant in one way or another, and a quick shot of a beloved dragon named Fin Fang Foom from Iron Man to keep fans delighted. There’s a reminder of Thor’s humble and yet adventurous beginnings in his first movie, and one too many limbs lost in a dedicated reference to Star Wars. With the hint at an artificial intelligence named J.A.C.O.S.T.A that Tony Stark decides against, and the subtle appearance of a villain named The Tinkerer in Spiderman: Homecoming. There was a hint at a Sinister Six movie to follow The Amazing Spiderman 2 that was never to be, and finally a totem of some amazing comic book characters during Thor Ragnarok. While they may not be obvious to the majority of movie watchers, these Easter Eggs are truly for the fans, from the biggest fans of all: the filmmakers.

When Granny came out at the end of 2017, not many people paid attention to this survival horror game. However, earlier this year, it started to generate a serious buzz and it became a massive deal for Android and iPhone gamers. However, like all successful things, it’s had its imitators and some of them haven’t been all that good. Then again, some of them have been alright, but we still prefer the original.

Escape Grandma’s House: Angry Neighbor Gran Game is a game which owes a lot to Granny. Only, it’s graphics are a little bit, shall we say, off and we’ll be talking about that here. We’ll also be talking about Hello Stickman, a game which is immensely playable, but in our humble opinions, falls just a little bit short when it comes to delivering the scares that you’ll find while playing Granny.

One of the more bizarre Granny clones is Daddy where the spooky, creepy title character of the original is replaced by a jovial looking bearded giant. Oh, and the gameplay is nowhere near as good. Fans of Five Night At Freddy’s will be left, we think, somewhat disappointed by Five Nights At Granny’s. However, if you want a game with an obvious, yet nonsensical title, there’s always Scary Granny Horror House Neighbour Survival Game. Thanks for watching, and don’t forget to subscribe to TheGamer!
