After the Dark Knight Trilogy and rise of the MCU, our movie schedules have been filled with all types of superhero adventures. 2019 will be no different with a loaded slate of films featuring some of the most well-known heroes of all-time. From the MCU to the DCEU with a double-dose of X-Men tossed into the mix, check out some of the top superhero movies to look forward to all of next year!

After months of hype and a tease at the end of The Avengers: Infinity War, Captain Marvel finally swoops into theaters. X-Men returns in a big way by focusing on the Dark Phoenix storyline and bringing back a lot of the main cast. For a different kind of superhero movie, check out Glass, the sequel to both Unbreakable and Split. Shazam is a whole new superhero movie for the DCEU and looks to infuse a ton of comedy into the world. Hellboy is returning with a reboot featuring David Harbour in the title role. Spider-Man ventures back from his time with The Avengers and gets to travel overseas for a pivotal role in Spider-Man: Far From Home. The New Mutants will put a horror spin on the X-Men and Joker looks to tell the tale of the most infamous Batman villain. Some animated superhero features include Reign of Superman and the LEGO Movie 2 featuring heroes like Batman and the Green Lantern. Watch to see all of the upcoming movies, including Wonder Woman 1984 and Channing Tatum in Gambit!
