In this year’s epic Avengers: Infinity War movie, the Mad Titan Thanos acquired all six of the powerful Infinity Stones and used them to execute his horrific plan to erase half of all life in the universe with a mere snap of his fingers.

But we know he already had possession of the Mind Stone several years ago, as he gave it to Loki – in the form of a powerful Sceptre – in 2012’s Avengers movie (in order for the God of Mischief to launch an assault on Earth on his behalf).

We didn’t, however, know exactly how he managed to get his hands on it – at least up until now, that is. And that’s what this video will be all about.

The reveal of how Thanos acquired the Mind Stone comes from a novel by Barry Lyga called Thanos: Titan Consumed, which suggests the purple despot visited a character called the Lorespeaker, who confirmed to the Mad Titan that the Infinity Stones weren’t a myth, then revaled that he was in possession of the Mind Stone himself, which he used to influence Thanos’ mind (prior to the prune-chinned villain being saved by Nebula and Gamora, and Thanos taking the Stone for himself and vowing to collect all six).
