Thiru Kumar, AKA the Dosa Man, has been running NY Dosas, a food cart in Greenwich Village’s Washington Square Park, since 2001. His dosas-which are made from fermented rice and lentils, and stuffed with potatoes, vegetables and spicy sauces-have become an international phenomenon. Thiru grew up in Sri Lanka and learned to make South Indian recipes as a child. After he immigrated to the United States in the 90s, he made it his life’s work to sell affordable, fresh and vegan dosas to NYU students, professors and other passerby’s.

The original #Hyundai #Tucson was late to the compact SUV party about 15 years ago and even though it doesn’t sell in the same amount as rivals, still represents a solid choice in the ultra competitive compact CUV segment. When the current generation came out in 2016, Hyundai went with a more mature design language and a new turbocharged engine paired with a segment first dual-clutch transmission. For 2019, the #HyundaiTucson loses that unique engine option for something a bit more mainstream and while the design also gets more conservative, their are rumors of a possible #TucsonN being in the works and it should add some fun to an otherwise bland segment.
