IGN’s live daily news show once again breaks down the biggest stories from August 12th, 2020! Based on some street date stickers, it seems very much like the Xbox Series X will launch on November 6th, the creators of Avatar: The Last Airbender have departed the live-action Netflix remake of the beloved animated series over creative differences, Control’s next-gen upgrades will only be available to a select few, and one of the devs on Visceral’s canceled Star Wars game “Ragtag” has revealed some of what was planned for the game. All this and plenty more!

Avatar: The Last Airbender’s creators have announced they’ve left the live-action Netflix adaptation. While they will still be involved in the Last Airbender franchise, they will no longer be showrunning or executive producing the new series. No other news about the adaptation has been announced since the reveal almost two years ago.
