In this episode of “What’s Cooking?” Michael travels to St. Louis where Allrecipes home cook, Nelly, teaches us how to make Plantain Appetizers!
Nelly prepares four Puerto Rican appetizers using the humble plantain. She begins with tostones rellenos stuffed with picadillo (seasoned ground beef) and cheese. These are great as a side dish or appetizer! Aranitas (little spiders) come out crunchy and look so pretty on the plate. Remember to season them as soon as they come out of the oil. Mofongo might not look like much, but it sure is tasty. Made of mashed green plantains with garlic, olive oil, and pork rinds (or bacon), Mofongo goes well with chicken or fish broth and can be stuffed with garlic shrimp, carne frita, or octopus salad. It can also be formed into small balls and dropped in soups or served directly in a mortar. This is sure to become one of your guilty pleasures! And finally, she makes quick, easy, and delicious shrimp served over white rice or mofongo.

Skyrim is the fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series created by Bethesda Game Studios and one of the most highly anticipated RPGs of all time. In this game, players will be thrown into the world of Skyrim in the shoes of Dovahkiin, which means “Dragonborn” in the dragon language. Players must venture forth in a quest to grow as a character and discover why the dragons have returned and stop them before they consume the world.
This is the final of eight videos of the What We Know So Far series for Skyrim. Welcome to the MASTERLIST. Tanner Hall visited Norway for the premier of his new skiing movie “Retallack”. Red Bull Norway grasped the opportunity of Tanner’s visit to host a competition in association with core magazine Fri Flyt, where ten upcoming twin-tip talents were selected to go train with the 7 times X-Games winner. The training took place in Norway’s most modern trampoline hall, and local pro-skiiers like PK Hunder, Alexander Aurdal and Christopher Frankum joined in for the 3 hour session.
