طفل في الثالث من ربيعه كان يشكي من آلم في معدته. فأخذه والده الى احدى مستشفيات بيرو. وقام الاطباء بالفحص وكشفت الموجات فوق الصوتية أن في بطن المريض يوجد جسم متشكل بشكل جزئي (جنين). و واصل الجنين كل هذا الوقت العيش في بطن اخيه.

وقام فريق من الأطباء في بيرو بنجاح إزالة الجنين من معدة الطفل. وقال الطبيب الجراح ان تشكيل الجنين كان جزئيا ويزن أكثر من كيلوغرام ويبلغ طوله 25 سنتيمترا.

ان هناك حالات مثل هذه تحصل مرة في حوالي 500000 ولادة
