Professional freeride mountain bike athlete Paul Basagoitia had a dream: to one day conquer a double backflip. After hours of hard work and brutal falls, Basagoitia finally made this dream a reality. Taking place outside of Page, Arizona, Basagoitia cemented himself in history by accomplishing this tough feat.

GoPro recently partnered with Project Aether on an ambitious expedition to Alaska to conduct science experiments and record the first high quality images of the Aurora Borealis from the edge of space.

Project Aether is a non-profit collaboration between public school teachers and graduate students and is designed to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, explorers and dreamers.

We’ve got the inside scoop with our three intrepid chefs on the streets of New York City, as they each share their Top 5 NYC Food Faves!

Which chef picked Carroll Garden, Brooklyn’s Buttermilk Channel, Jamaican food in Flatbush, and Shake Shack (“can’t beat it with a stick!”) as his loves? Who went all-in on street food: pizza, hot dogs, burgers and tacos? And which competitor loves all of NYC food culture – restaurants, bars and coffeeshops?

From the creators of Chopped, NO KITCHEN REQUIRED follows three chefs as they are dropped into the most exotic and remote places on earth where they will work with the locals to hunt, fish and forage for ingredients to create a locally-inspired meal that will be judged by the community.

The three fearless chefs are:
* Award-winning New York restaurateur Michael Psilakis;
* First-ever Chopped Grand Champion Madison Cowan, who has roots in London, Detroit and Jamaica
and
* New Zealand chef Kayne Raymond.

The trio leave the comforts of their kitchens and are dropped into ten locations around the world including Belize, Dominica, New Zealand, Fiji, Chiang Mai, Thailand, Phuket, Thailand, Hawaii, New Mexico, Louisiana and Florida.

The series is hosted by British presenter Dr. Shini Somara (BBC’s One Show, BBC World News’ The Health Show) – who joins the chefs on the adventure.
