Here’s a straightforward sensible car review of a straightforward sensible car. Well, these things are relative. This is the new Rolls-Royce Ghost and it is Rolls-Royce’s entry-level saloon. Which still means it costs £208,000 and has a 6.6-litre V12 engine making 563bhp. So quite a lot.
Good enough, in fact, for 0-60mph in 5.8sec and for it to reach a limited top speed of 155mph. But it’s the way it goes down the road at sedate speeds that’s more interesting.
