يظن الإنسان لحظة أن قدرات الكلب تتوقف عند حد اللعب بالكرة واكتشاف الأشياء من رائحتها، ولكن أوفى صديق للإنسان يثبت يوماً بعد يوم أن بوسعه عمل ما لم يتوقعه عقل، فبعد تعليم الصينيين كلابهم فن البالية تتفوق عليها نيوزيلندا الآن بتعليم الكلاب قيادة السيارات حتى تنقذ أصحابها وقت اللزوم وعند وقوع حوادث.
