Nikon D5200, S1 & J3 Hands On!

Between the D5200, S1 and J3 Nikon did CES right.

The Nikon 1 Series got two new additions between the Nikon S1 and J3. The S1 is the new entry level camera starting at only $499 with a 10.1 megapixel sensor, 1080p video capability and an 11-27.5mm kit lens. The J3 upgrades to a 14.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, higher resolution 921k dot display and a more premium body for $599 with a 10-30mm lens.

With the Nikon D5200 the DSLR range gets a big upgrade. With a 24.1 megapixel APS-C sensor, improved 39 point autofocus system, built-in stereo microphone for the full 1080p video all for $899 with the 18-55mm kit lens with a release date in late January.
