Tucked in the hills of Southern New Zealand lies the Frew brothers Farm. Normally the scene of aimlessly wandering sheep, Red Bull Farm jam transforms the land into the ultimate freestyle venue complete with FMX track and a jump line for MTB freeride and BMX. Top riders from across the globe flocked to this far flung corner of the Earth to put on an amazing show and the best Farm Jam to date.

In MTB freeride first place went to Andreu Lacondeguy, in BMX Kyle Baldock nailed the number one spot, and Matt Schubring took the title in FMX.

Finally, huge props to Andreu Lacondeguy for competing in both the MTB freeride and FMX events, truly a feat of athletic versatility!

لجنة المناقصات المركزية تؤهل 18 شركة لتنفيذ مشروع المطار الجديد

تعتزم الكويت بدء عملية طرح المناقصات خلال الشهر المقبل لبناء مطارها الجديد الذي تصل كلفته التقديرية الى 900 مليون دينار “2ر3 مليار دولار”. 
وقال فيصل الاستاذ مدير ادارة المستشارين في وزارة الاشغال العامة في مقابلة مع “رويترز” ان المطار الذي تبلغ سعته 25 مليون راكب سنويا بمستوى جودة خدمات /ايه/ سيكون أكبر مشروع تضطلع به الحكومة الكويتية متوقعا أن يتم افتتاحه في عام 2020. 
ووقعت الكويت في 2010 عقدا مع شركة فوستر اند بارتنرز البريطانية لتقوم بعمليات التصميم التي انتهت حاليا بالفعل. 
وقال الاستاذ ان لجنة المناقصات المركزية قامت بتأهيل 18 شركة عالمية ليس من بينها أية شركة كويتية للتنافس على مناقصة تنفيذ المشروع. 
وتوقع أن يتم طرح المناقصة قبل نهاية الربع الاول من العام الحالي ليتم Continue reading →
