After the images of the biggest wave ever surfed in Praia do Norte, Nazaré, have run the world, the Red Bull Mito promises to make a stand on surfing giant waves. Axi Muniain was one of the participants and wasted no time feeling the force of the cannon in Nazaré.

The competition was in the waiting period at the end of last year but did not happen due to lack of ideal conditions. The water safety will be managed by Hawaiian Garrett McNamara.

Para o primeiro Tow In Championship a ter lugar na Nazaré estarão presentes várias equipas com alguns dos melhores surfistas nacionais e internacionais de ondas gigantes. A competição esteve em período de espera no final do ano passado mas não aconteceu devido à falta de condições ideais. A segurança na água será gerida pelo havaiano Garrett McNamara.

When four-wheel drive just won’t cut it, you might need the Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6. That’s if you can afford its equally astonishing £350,000 price tag. This bespoke brute is fitted with a twin-turbo 5.5-litre V8 producing 536bhp and 560lb ft of torque. Despite weighing 3,775kg it can still hit 62mph in less than six seconds. Its top speed is limited to 100mph to protect the huge 37-inch off-road tyres. It’s derived from an Australian military vehicle, no less.
