أصدر النائب الأول لرئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية الشيخ أحمد الحمود قرارا وزاريا باحالة عدد من القياديين في الوزارة إلى التقاعد مع ترقيتهم إلى الرتب التي تلي رتبهم الحالية.
