“I ended up driving in the dark… without realizing there was a massive drop to one side, so if you don’t know it’s there, you don’t worry about it. And if you don’t know it’s there but you do go off the edge, you’ve only got maybe 3-4 seconds to think, ‘What an idiot I am’ and then it’s all over.”
