The new Renault Twingo has been revealed, and will go on sale following a debut at the Geneva motor show next month. See the new rear-engined, rear-drive city car in official pictures.

The Renault is looking to tear up the traditional city car blueprint with the new Renault Twingo. For the first time, it adopts a five-seat, four-door, rear-engined and rear-wheel drive layout. That formula has not been seen in mainstream European car design since the Hillman Imp went out of production in 1976. It will make its first public appearance at the Geneva motor show, but here we bring you the official pictures and story of the new car.
