To put it simply, Hart Lines was mental. Hart Plaza proved to be the perfect venue to host Red Bull Hart Lines, with the final featuring eight of the gnarliest skaters around. They took three runs on the course: one on each of the two designated “lines” and a third on the line of their choice. 19-year-old phenom Curren Caples stole the show during the finals, laying down a history-making run that earned himself top spot on the podium and a 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T presented by Pennzoil Synthetics. اسمها الحقيقي هو «كاملة محمد كامل شاكر» وولدت في 23مارس 1916 لأب دبلوماسي ومن كبير موظفي وزارة الخارجية المصرية وكان احد ثلاثة مصريين فقط يعملون في الخارجية حيث كان معظم دبلوماسيها وموظفيها من الأجانب.. أما الأم فهي من عائلة تركية عريقة و«كاملة» هي ابنتها الوحيدة ولها ثلاثة شقيقات أخريات من أبيها من زوجة أخرى.. تلقت دراستها في مدرسة التوفيقية القبطية بالقاهرة وفي المدرسة ظهرت مواهبها الفنية التي بدأتها بالغناء وكانت تتميز بحلاوة الصوت كما برعت في التمثيل
اشتهرت في بدايتها بصوتها الجميل فغنت في فرق علي الكسار وعزيز عيد الغنائية المسرحية، واشتهرت بإعادة أغنيات بديعه مصابني.
عندما علم والدها بالأمر غضب بشدة، لدرجة أنه أصيب بالشلل، لكن عمتها أخفت سبب مرضه عن العائلة حتى لا يصبون غضبهم على «عقيلة».
لم تتزوج طوال حياتها إلا مرة واحدة وكانت من الفنان المطرب والممثل «حامد مرسي» وكانت الزوجة التاسعة لهذا الرجل الذي عرف كأشهر دنجوان على ساحة الفن والمجتمع المصري في العشرينيات والثلاثينيات والأربعينيات وكان معبود العذارى والمراهقات وهدفاً دائما لمطاردة الحسناوات أينما ذهب وحل, ولم يكن ينافسه في ذلك إلا الموسيقار محمد عبدالوهاب لكن عرف عن حامد مرسي كثرة زيجاته وكما ذكرنا كانت عقيلة الزوجة رقم 9 لهذا الدنجوان أو «معبود النساء» كما كانوا يلقبونه
قالت ابنتها أميمة إنه رغم أن حياتها مع «مرسي» اتسمت بالاستقرار، إلا أنه كان منطلقا ومندفعا في بداية حياتهما معا، على عكس شخصية «عقيلة» النتحفظة، فعرضت عليه «عقيلة» الانفصال في هدوء، فوافق، وتم الطلاق بينهما، بعد علاقة زواج دامت 25 عامًا، لكنهما ظلا على علاقة أكثر من جيدة

قدمت ما يقرب من 200 مسرحية، وأكثر من 60 فيلمًا سينمائيًا، من أبرزها « «الفرسان الثلاثة»، عام 1941، و«طلاق سعاد هانم»، عام 1948، عائلة زيزي»، عام 1963.

أثناء تصوير آخر أفلامها بعنوان «المنحوس»، عام 1978، ارتفع ضغط عينيها وأجرت عملية جراحية، أدت إلى فقدانها البصر تمامًا، لكنها أصرت على استكمال التصوير رغم ذلك، ثم توقفت عن العمل بعد هذا الفيلم.

ظلت تعيش في بيتها دون أن يسأل عنها أحد طوال تلك الفترة، ثم ماتت في 22 فبراير 1999، ولم يحضر جنازتها سوى الفنان الراحل خليل مرسي، ممثلا عن نقابة المهن التمثيلية.
