They share two variations of empanadas: one with cornmeal flour and another with wheat flour, plus a variety of fillings, like braised beef with chilis, crushed fried peanuts and potatoes, and costeño cheese.

Dee Dee, a Northern Thai street food truck in Austin, TX, was not immune to the global pandemic – owners Lakana and Justin Trubiana were forced to temporarily close down for the first time since they started their business four years ago. But that time away from work has had a silver lining, as Lakana was able to focus on her other passion: her garden. Lakana shows off her exceptional array of plants, like cilantro, zucchini, banana, sage, chilis, and more. She is now incorporating the herbs and vegetables from her garden in Dee Dee’s menu.

You can make pizza dough with just self-rising flour and Greek yogurt! Get the recipe: https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/244447/two-ingredient-pizza-dough/

Ingredients:
1 ½ cups self-rising flour, plus more for kneading
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 serving cooking spray

Directions:
Step 1
Mix flour and Greek yogurt together in a bowl; transfer to a work surface floured with self-rising flour. Knead dough, adding more flour as needed to keep dough from being too sticky, for 8 to 10 minutes.

Step 2
Spray a 12-inch pizza pan with cooking spray and spread dough to edges of pan.

Farideh shows off her grilling skills with kabab-koobideh, an Iranian beef kabab that’s as fun to make as it is to eat. Farideh’s take on koobideh involves grated onions, 80/20 ground beef, citrusy sumac, and a little baking soda to help tenderize the meat. Farideh preps her kababs on seekh skewers, starts her charcoal grill, and gets down to grilling. She finishes the dish with some Persian basil, lime, and buttery grilled lavash bread.
