The spotlight is currently shining on the PlayStation 5, so the Xbox Series X has been pushed aside, but you shouldn’t underestimate Microsoft’s powerful next-gen console. Sure, Sony has this whole marketing thing down to a science, but that doesn’t mean the Series X can’t compete with the PS5. While it may be one heck of an uphill battle, the Xbox Series X could very well win Microsoft the console wars, if they play their cards right.
If the rumors are true, then the Xbox Series X might sell for a measly $400. Yes, that’s still a good chunk of change, but not nearly as high as the PS5 price rumors. But just the price of the console alone isn’t going to be enough for gamers to switch to Xbox. Microsoft knows that games make a console, so they’re really pushing optimization with the Xbox Series X. They’ll be doing their best with developers to make games optimized for Xbox Series X, and not the PS5, in the hopes of giving gamers the best experience on Series X, maybe even giving them enough ammo to pull the trigger and switch sides.
