What’s Next For Venom After No Way Home

Ever since Venom first leaped out of the comics in 1994’s Spider-Man The Animated Series- fans have been clamoring for more and more symbiote goodness. Over the years, he appeared in several fan favorite video games like Ultimate Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Web Of Shadows – but the moment Venom truly became a household name was in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3. Although, Eric Foreman was not the Eddie Brock we were looking for.

Back when The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was releasing trailers, there was a renewed excitement for Venom on the big screen as a big old ball of goop was shown in that secret Oscorp level that was setup for the Sinister Six, although that shot never made it into the final cut of the movie, seemingly dashing any hopes for future appearances.

Fast forward a few years and Sony Pictures released Venom, while it wasn’t a perfect film, we couldn’t help but love the fantastic performance provided by Tom Hardy as the Daily Bugle reporter turned lethal protector. Excitement really became sky high when we saw the post credit scene for Venom: Let There Be Carnage which had the symby transfer over into the Marvel Cinematic Universe for Spider-Man No Way Home. Unfortunately, that was just a prank and Eddie Brock is seemingly returning home. So we have to ask the question, what’s next for Venom?

There is a whole slew of possibilities with fans hoping that Andrew Garfield gets to one v one Tom Hardy in The Amazing Spider-Man 3. There’s also a chance that Venom joins Miles Morales as he Enters The Spider-Verse, and it’s even possible that he teams up with Morbius through the Sinister Six! Let’s talk about it.
