There’s a lot of exciting new films at the South By Southwest Film Fesitval 2015, and we were lucky enough to get some time with the filmmakers of some of the most-buzzed-about movies.

Today, we’re talking to Michael Showalter, famous as the writer of Wet Hot American Summer, The Baxter, and They Came Together. His latest film, Hello, My Name is Doris, is making its debut at SXSW. Clint sits down with him to talk about how the film came to be, his background in sketch comedy, and making a funny film about an unfunny subject.

Hello, My Name is Doris, stars Sally Field, Natasha Lyonne, and Max Greenfield. Stay tuned for more of CineFix’s coverage of SXSW!
