Filmed in Grand Park Zoo, Seoul, South Korea, the two adult females rush to the water and help the calf swim to safety. The young elephant likely wasn’t in any danger – elephants swim by sticking their trunk out of the water to breathe. Elephants have close familial bonds, leading to the excited reaction by the calf’s mother.
