R Kelly has been released from a Chicago jail after the $161,000 (£123,000) he owed in child support was paid.
A Cook County sheriff’s spokesperson confirmed that “someone” paid the outstanding amount for him, but that she did not know the person’s identity.
In February, the singer was charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse of four women – pleading not guilty to all charges.
