The ongoing turmoil in Ukraine is one of the biggest issues facing the world today. The crisis has been characterised by a series of shocks – how the Ukrainian President just upped and left one day after an escalation in the pro-EU protests, how Vladimir Putin hit back to annex Crimea, as well as the horrific downing of MH17.
