Uncle Al & Jack review the new Bruce Willis/Die Hard 5 installment, A Good Day To Die Hard official trailer on Trailer Hitch. Uncle Al loves to watch Bruce Willis waste Euro-trash, even though Jack thinks Willis is a little old to still be doing his John McClane thing. The two argue about the Die Hard franchise, with Jack favoring the John McTiernan-drected efforts: Die Hard 1 & 3 — specifically praising the elevator shootout in Die Hard 3; while Uncle Al prefers Die Hard 2 directed by Renny Harlin. Jack goes on about all the Die Hard rip-offs, including Under Siege with Steven Seagal, Passenger 57 with Wesley Snipes and Speed 2 with Sandra Bullock, whom Uncle Al deems “a good-lookin’ lady”. Uncle Al is also very upset that people refer to Beethoven’s 5th Symphony as the “Die Hard Theme” and muses that Beethoven would make a great action hero, “wandering around Vienna, kicking ass, and deaf.” They also argue on the correct pronunciation of Stanley Kubrick.

With references to Target directed by Arthur Penn, A Clockwork Orange, and Drive.
