Top aides air fears over Donald Trump’s Ukraine call

A White House aide who heard Donald Trump’s phone call with the President of Ukraine has told the impeachment inquiry it was “improper”.

In impassioned testimony, Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman said it was ‘improper’ that the US President asked Ukraine to investigate his political rival Joe Biden.

But Republicans dismissed the testimony as an interpretation.
